Halifax hero Joel Plaskett is set to release a new album full of rarities, b-sides, demos, unreleased, and alternate takes of songs spanning his career. On June 14, EMERGENCYs, false alarms, shipwrecks, castaways, fragile creatures, special features, demons and demonstrations via New Scotland Records.
This will give fans the chance to hear an old classic such as “Clueless Wonder” in a different light, the Irma Thomas cover “Hurt’ws All Gone”, and the CBC Roadtrip song “On the Rails” that was previously only available digitally. These tracks should hold over Plaskett fans for a while as he works on the new album.
