We’re giving away a pair of tickets to see Dartmouth’s favourite often plaid clad or Canadian tuxedo wearing resident, Mr. Joel Plaskett. The Joel Plaskett Emergency play Olympic Hall on Thurs. March 28. The show will have a licensed area for those aged 19+ (the floor) and an all ages area (the balcony). This will mark the first all out Joel Plaskett Emergency all ages show in Halifax in quite a while. You can read a track-by-track feature the Broken Speaker and Mixtape Magazine did with Plaskett leading up to the release of his latest album Scrappy Happiness.
Doors are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 or $30 (plus $3 e-ticket fee) in advance and available online now. Don’t hold off on purchasing tickets though, the Emergency are popular in these parts of town.
